Frequently Asked Questions about TCI EXPO

Where is TCI EXPO 2008 being held, and when?

TCI EXPO'08 will be held at the Midwest Airlines Center, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The
Pre-Conference Workshops will be held Wednesday, Nov. 12, and the trade show floor will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 13-15, 2008.

Conference seminars and workshops will be offered during the day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Where can I stay while in Milwaukee?

We will have several hotels with discounted room rates. Please check our hotels page for the most up-to-date hotel information. We will add hotel rooms as demand increases, so check back often to see what's available.

Do you ever offer discounts on airline tickets?

This year, Midwest Airlines is offering a discount on airfare. To take advantage of Midwest Airlines discount offer, please book your flight online:

Click on O-Z and then click on Tree Care Industry Association Exposition. Enter code CMZ1603 to start the booking process.

Expo attendees and exhibitors will receive a 10% discount off any published fare if ticket is purchased at least 60 days in advance.  Within 60 days, attendees will receive a 6% discount.

Do you have driving directions if I want to travel by car?

Driving in? The Center is located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. Currently the city of Milwaukee is undergoing a roads and highways infrastructure project. Because of the project, travel routes may vary from month to month. Map-It Routing provides maps and driving directions specific to the month you plan to travel and is updated to reflect changes due to construction. Does Amtrak service Milwaukee?

Yes, Amtrak does service Milwaukee and it is cost effective to take the train.

Is there an airport shuttle service available?

TCIA has arranged for discounted shuttle service thru Go Airport Connection from Milwaukee airport to our group hotels The Hilton or The Hyatt.  The rate for a shared shuttle transportation is $20.00 roundtrip and the most stops you will make would be three including your hotel.

Can I earn CEUs at TCI EXPO?

Yes, we anticipate over 60 hours of education to be offered during TCI EXPO; please see the brochure when it becomes available and watch the TCIA web site for specific information.

How do I register for TCI EXPO?

The program is currently under development; the program brochure with registration information will be inserted in a late summer or early fall issue of TCI Magazine. The brochure and online registration will be ready at the end of July; please keep checking this Web site for availability.
