The proposed revisions to ANSI Z133.1-2006 (American National Standard for Arboricultural Operations - Safety Requirements), developed by the Accredited Standards Committee Z133, are available for public review from August 12 through September 11, 2011. A copy of the draft standard may be obtained here.(Note: Red comments in the PDF are additions to the standard, while strikethrough comments are what is being removed.)

This is the second public review period in the current revision cycle. The purpose is to present proposed revisions that resulted from public comment and Z133 Committee discussion related to the first public review period in early 2011.
Comments must be submitted in writing (by email, if possible) to Janet Huber at the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) no later than September 11, 2011.

Comments must be specific to a particular numbered section(s) within the proposed draft standard, with a complete explanation of concerns and alternative language, if applicable
