ANSI A300 (Part 10) - 20xx Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
New National Standard in Development for Integrated Pest Management
The Tree Care Industry Association and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A300 committee have initiated a new standards project to develop the first national standards for Integrated Pest Management of trees, woody shrubs and vines. The items addressed in the new standard should include, but are not limited to:
- Program design and specifications;
- Site surveys
- Monitoring
- Treatments
- Reporting
ANSI A300 standards are considered the final authority in civil courts and by most dispute arbitration systems. An approved A300 Part 10 IPM standard will take precedence in the USA over previous IPM standards or other IPM best management guides for tree, woody shrub and vine management.
